Benefits

Organize your data

Have all your mine information (current and historical) digitized and organized in a database that is easy to access, share, and protect.

Adjust your estimated
results to reality

Obtain calculations with greater precision using the information collected to feed the software you use in your routine activities.

Get a geological model
and resource estimates

Improve the planning of your mine and increase the value of your project, creating geological and resource models, which will allow you to facilitate the evaluation of various factors of the operation.

What services do we offer?

Our team begins by compiling the information, which is an essential part of the development of the project. Formalized data collection activities are established where it will be necessary to prioritize, identify and process the most relevant data. This information is validated and approved by the mining unit within an agreed period.

The information is scanned after carrying out a strict validation of the information in which the personnel of the mining unit will collaborate to discard information with errors, high uncertainty, and or not representative. The scanned information is stored in an AWS server and then digitized in AutoCAD or BricsCAD.

The scanned information is then modeled in 3D. The digitized plans are uploaded to a server to be reviewed by our staff. Following, it is placed in a folder accessible to the mining unit personnel for review.

As a result, you will get:

  • Digitization of topographic information.
  • Digitization of plans and geological sections.
  • Creation of a database for drill holes and channel samples.
Mine Design and Planning

Mine design and planing

The use of innovative and rigorous methods ensures the high productivity and efficiency of your project, while maximizing the profitability of your mine. We consider the type of deposit in order to select the most adequate exploration method and implement a consolidated plan for the development.

We plan your drifts, ramps, raises, drilling and blasting designs, and planning (weekly, medium term, Gantt charts, progress reports, cost reports, among others), guaranteeing the adequate and efficient use of the mine’s resources.

We offer mechanized solutions through the use of Promine, and/or other compatible software; taking advantage of the technological advances in the mining industry.

Real-time topographic survey

The fast-paced mining industry does not allow for stopping or delaying activities, hence the importance of optimizing all the processes that are carried out on a daily basis. Surveying and topographic updating does not escape from this reality.

Promine offers you the perfect solution to meet your survey needs through real-time surveying information, transmitting the capture of points immediately from the total station to the computer, thus avoiding the loss of productive time of equipment operators. Promine’s various specialized modules complete the activities accurately and efficiently by generating new models of your underground workings or updating your pre-existing surveys.

Real-time Topographic Survey

Real-time transmission from LEICA equipment

Multiple views and dynamic rotation of the model

Filtering and refining of points that make up the model

Creation of cuts and sections from any point of the model

Reduction of dilution through artificial intelligence

Dilution is present in every extraction process. Overbreak and underbreak have direct impacts on project costs, either by generating unnecessary amounts of material that must be transported and processed, or by producing losses by not extracting all possible ore from the reserve.

Promine uses Artificial Intelligence technology through machine learning, which allows us to simulate multiple scenarios using the client’s actual production data to generate an effective solution through dilution prediction specifically developed considering the characteristics of your deposit.

We do not only offer a solution applied to the current design of your stopes, but we go further by evolving along with the mine through information feedback. This allows the creation of increasingly efficient mining designs as new data is generated.

Predicting and reducing dilution in your operations

Creating and adapting the servers for information analysis

Generating and validating the database

Redefining the design of the stopes to get the maximum benefit

Designing machine learning algorithms

Monitoring the performance of the stopes or the processing plant

Geology and Geostatistics

Make the most of your exploration results thanks to the cutting-edge tools used by our consultants to carry out their work. We focus on finding and defining the dimensions of the mineral deposits, reducing costs, risks, and work times.

Using 3D modeling software in conjunction with geostatistical methods, you can obtain the model with the distribution of grades.

In addition, Promine can develop custom applications for your mine to suit your project, such as Map geological faces with ease and assign different rock types to defined areas of the face map from a mobile device. Also, Our CAD solution offers a face mapping module that allows you to insert geological structures directly from your mine.

BLK FR

Our team reviews, validates and updates the existing geological model. The missing information is complemented for the optimal functioning of the block model. For this, we carry out the process of compositing the grades contained in the drill holes at a constant length (equal), then we proceed to calculate the variogram in all directions (depending on the characteristics of the deposit and the number of samples). Based on the variogram results, the radii of influence and anisotropies are determined. After finding the preferential directions of the mineralization through the experimental variograms, the modeling will be applied with the authorized formulas (spherical, exponential, linear, Gaussian, etc.). At the same time, the geological units that will intervene in the estimation, are defined.

GST FR

Geostatistics and estimation will be carried out using 3D modeling software.

A geostatistical analysis will be carried out to determine the variables that will intervene in the estimation of geological resources, for which the following stages are planned:

  • Review and validation of databases and elements involved in the estimate.
  • Definition of outliers (extreme values), data capping, and composite length.
  • Construction of semivariograms, definition of the directions of anisotropy, range of variables, and variographic maps.
  • Cross-validation to test the theoretical variogram model and determine if there are estimation errors.
RES FR

Our team performs the description, study, and classification of the resources contained in the deposit since the viability of a deposit can be impacted by a good analysis methodology. Geometallurgical domains generate the possibility of estimating through deterministic methods, such as the inverse of distance, or geostatistical, such as the different variations of kriging, with similar information that is close to it, which has the function of improving the quality of the estimates. Additionally, an estimate is made for various cut-off grades, and variance maps are generated. Finally, a classification of geological resources is made: Measured, Indicated, and Inferred, according to the requirements of the mining unit.
