Carlos completed higher education studies at the Don Rómulo Gallegos Technological University Institute, graduating in 2003 as a Geologist and later in 2009 as a Petroleum Engineer from the Santiago Mariño Polytechnic University Institute. He worked as a geologist for the National Institute of Geology and Mining (Ingeomin), carrying out digital surface geological mapping associated with a Geographic Information System (GIS) using ArcView. Subsequently, he worked as a well operations geologist and petrophysical engineer for the physical characterization of rock in oil and gas reservoirs for 12 years. Carlos currently works as a technical support specialist at Promine.
